Terms & Conditions - the basics
The Bar Soap Company Effective Date: February 1, 2026
1. Acceptance By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. We may update them at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
2. Product Description We list each soap's size, ingredients, scent, and price. Descriptions are accurate but not binding. Minor variations (color, shape) may occur due to handmade production.
3. Pricing & Payment Prices include tax and free domestic shipping. You pay at checkout via credit card, Apple Pay, or PayPal. We reserve the right to correct errors.
4. Shipping & Delivery We ship within two business days. Delivery time depends on carrier (USPS, UPS). You assume risk once it leaves our door. We don’t insure against loss, theft, or damage—buy insurance if you want.
5. Returns & Refunds See our separate Refund Policy. No returns for scent change of heart. All returns must be unused, unopened, shipped back in thirty days.
6. Privacy & Data We collect your name, address, email, and payment info—only to process orders and send updates. We do not sell or share with third parties. See our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property Trademarks, scent names, packaging designs—ours. You can use 'em for review or share, but not copy for profit. No reselling.
8. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of Louisiana. Any disputes go to Baton Rouge court. We’re not liable for indirect damages—like lost time or broken hearts.
